SKANDI ARCTIC

Dwarfing the harbour pilot tug Knab the Skandi Arctic eases away from the quay at Greenhead base on her way to Dales Voe just north of Lerwick.

The 2009 build has been in harbour to pick up drum reels for a project offshore and at 18,000 gross tonnes becomes one of the largest offshore visitors to Lerwick for quite some time.

I think that I maybe welded together a couple of the smaller bits of metal on that one.
Nice to eventually see the finished product, especially in Shetland waters.

Cheers,
