BAD WEATHER

The past 5-7 days have seen persistant gale force westerly winds batter the islands and as the list of vessel seeking shelter grows the forecast remains bad.

Tonights sailings of NorthLink ferries have been postponed to and from the Mainland.

A number of vessels are seeking shelter along Shetland's east coast, with several lying in the lee of Fetlar. Amongst these are the Blyford Dolphin rig with it's attending escorts, Dea Server, Odin Viking, and Viking Troll.
